Light Veil

Ed Carpenter's suspended glass sculpture titled Light Veil was commissioned specifically for the atrium of the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library.  Carpenter fabricated the sculpture using laminated dichroic glass and stainless steel cables.  The work provides a monumental veil of glass and light, that changes throughout the day in response to the weather and light outside.
