Blue Parkway

As a part of UrbanArt Commission's Tenth Anniversary Series, interactions/interruptions: Ten Years of Public Art in Memphis, local artist Tad Lauritzen Wright created a temporary installation titled Blue Parkway.  Lauritzen Wright's installation included large single-line drawings on 15”- wide blue vinyl bands that wrapped 300 trees along the Memphis Parkways System, visually linking North Parkway, East Parkway, South Parkway and the Mississippi River to form a large conceptual city square.
