Memphis Animal Services Center

Artist Deborah Brown was commissioned to produce a series of whimsical tile mosaic friezes for the exterior and interior of the new Memphis Animal Services Center in an effort to demonstrate the facility's 'culture of care' for all animals in need. A common misconception is that only domestic pets are eligible for treatment. However, the professionals at the Animal Services Center are able to provide vetrinary services to large animals such as horses and cows, as well as the more unsuspected 'barnyard' and 'wild' animals.
