Artist's Bio
I was born and raised in Plattsburgh, NY. I received my B.A. in Studio Art from Plattsburgh State University in 1998 and my M.F.A. in Sculpture from the University of Maryland in 2001. I served as an artist-in-residence at the Johnson Atelier Technical Institute of Sculpture in Hamilton, NJ and have taught a variety of studio art classes at Plattsburgh State University, the University of Maryland, the College of Charleston, and Rhodes College. I also received an ABC grant from ArtsMemphis to teach printmaking to an underserved population. My work has been exhibited nationally in galleries such as the Hun Gallery in NYC and the Conner Contemporary Art Gallery in Washington DC, juried shows such as Navy Pier Walk, and sculpture parks such as Cedarhurst Sculpture Park.
